When I met Juli Mills I immediately knew she was my kind of woman. Self-expression helps you grow and connect as individuals in this world. Find what it is your soul is passionate about and follow it. Let your passions guide your actions and don’t be afraid to be uniquely you.
In this fast-paced world, it is easy to feel like you are being pulled in a thousand directions all at once. This feeling can very quickly turn you into a big ball of stress. Having a balance is key! Know your priorities and the things that matter most to you and be sure to set the time aside to dedicate to these things. A well-rounded life is a happy life.
KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Positivity, positivity, positivity…I could honestly just leave it at that, but I will try to explain. An attitude is defined as “a mental position regarding a fact or state; a feeling or emotion toward a fact or state.” A positive attitude would mean you possess optimism and expect favorable outcomes from events. The benefits of keeping a positive attitude on your health and happiness are astounding and here are just a few of the benefits: increased life span, lower rates of depression, and an increase in achieving your goals. FIND YOUR PEOPLE
I know you have probably heard the quote “you are who you associate with”. I know I have heard that more than a few times from my mother growing up. I didn’t understand how true this statement was until I really began setting goals for my life and thinking about the person that I wanted to be “when I grow up”, I still think I am a kid. There are a few women who I hold very close to me in my life. My mother and a group of best friends I was very fortunate to meet in college. Although we are all very different with different goals we still possess very similar values and outlooks on life. These women are what drive me, they keep me motivated, and they inspire me daily. Find the individuals who inspire you and keep them close because it is those people who will consistently bring you up and never knock you down.
